Under the St. Lawrence River near Morrisburg, Ontario, lies lock no. 23, once part of the seaway linking the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the Great Lakes. Built in the late 19th century, it was submerged in the 1950s during the Cornwall dam construction.

As a diver, I measured it and created a virtual 3D model. These images show the project’s evolution.
